What is block pricing in salesforce CPQ?
Block pricing is used for managing product pricing based on quantity. It allows you to define different price points for specific quantity ranges, offering discounts for larger purchases and incentivizing customers to buy more.
How to setup block pricing?
- Click on App Launcher → Product → New and fill these fields:

and click Save.
2. Click on the Related tab, go to Price Book, and click on Add Standard Price.
3. In List Price, enter 15000 and click Save.
4. Now in the Related tab, go to Block Prices and click on Edit All.
5. In Price Name, enter Level 1, in Lower Bound enter 1, in Upper Bound enter 11 and in Price enter 50 then click on Add (+) icon.
6. Like the upper fields, you can also add these fields:

then click Save.
7. Let's check it out in the quote line editor.
6. Open your quotes and click on Edit Lines.
7. Click on Add Products and select a phone product.
8. If you change the quantity of phone from 1 to 10 then the price will be 50, between 11 to 20 price will be 100 and more than 20 price will be 150.
